These products and their manufacturers have been pre qualified by NSSC to meet the specifications for nuclear security applications.

Each product is reviewed for its technical capabilities and performance against accepted industry security requirements. In addition, manufacturers are rated for overall quality and delivery performance to ensure that our customers receive the most cost effective solutions to their security equipment needs.

NSSC has assembled a strong team of recognized manufacturers of a variety of security products. For access control and personnel screening, NSSC offers x-ray inspection systems and walk through metal detectors. Employee background checks are expedited through the use of an electronic fingerprinting system. The ability to protect personnel and vital equipment from ballistic attack is afforded by bullet resistive equipment including bullet resistive (BR) doors, windows and guard enclosures.

The defense of any facility is enhanced through protective delay barriers that inhibit an intruder and protects its defenders. Specialized defensive positions are constructed of BR armor plate and are available in many different configurations. Penetration resistive doors are designed to resist explosive charges and provide added minutes of delay time to intruder in order to allow a response force to assemble. Other delay barriers constructed around existing door openings provide additional seconds of delay and subject the intruder to the response force's weapons fire.

NSSC also provides the complete CCTV equipment solution. In conjunction with its Video Capture System™ and NSMART product lines, NSSC has integrated cameras, monitors, matrix switchers and other standard CCTV equipment to provide a comprehensive video assessment system. In many cases, NSSC's Design and Engineering Services were utilized to provide the customer with a cost effective total project.
