The CEIA Model PMD2 is recognized as the best multi zone metal detector available. A highly visible double light bar display highlights the locations of dense metal objects on individuals. Pre-selectable programming functions include sensitivity and detection speed. The PMD2 features high immunity to environmental conditions and allow automatic synchronization between adjacent metal detectors. The units can be installed within 6 inches of X-ray systems. An innovative chip card system allows the direct selection of predefined security levels set to international security standards. The CEIA PD140 series hand held metal detector is currently in use all over the world. There are over 20,000 in daily operation where security requirements demand a hand held metal detector with optimum performance. The unit has a large area of detection, which improves personnel processing. There are two versions available, one with standard sensitivity (PD140) and the PD140S with high sensitivity for special applications. Both hand held metal detectors are available with a 9Volt dry battery or a rechargeable Ni-Cad battery, holster, earpiece and an output for an audible alarm.
