One of the first services offered by NSSC was Perimeter Intrusion Detection and Assessment System Testing. NSSC specializes in compliance testing programs to assure that the customer's security systems meet both regulations, as well as, real world threats. Unlike most companies that are called on to evaluate security systems, NSSC will physically test all systems, demonstrate defeat techniques, and determine vulnerabilities based upon updated adversary characteristics documents.

NSSC's experience in systems and security equipment is unmatched by any company in the security field today. Past projects have included the first CCD Chip Cameras to be used in a nuclear power plant, the invention and development (in conjunction with ComEd) of the Video Capture System™, and the development and installation of the NSMART computer system.
